Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Canada is seeking a Produce Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in a fresh, well-stocked Produce Department. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and maintaining food safety and department standards.

Responsibilities include product rotation, receiving deliveries, keeping displays clean and attractive, and helping customers with selections while working collaboratively with store teams.

• Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in the Produce Department.
• Stock, rotate and merchandise fresh produce to standards.
• Inspect products for freshness and quality.
• Maintain attractive, signed displays and keep displays clean.
• Receive, store incoming produce and assist with temperature checks and safety procedures.
• Assist customers with product selection and inquiries.
