Job summary

North Central Co-operative is seeking a Part-Time Produce Clerk for our Edmonton, AB ChappelleFood Store. You will greet customers and provide product knowledge to assist with purchases. You will package, wrap and label produce, maintain attractive displays to company standards, monitor temperatures and keep equipment and workspaces clean.

What you’ll do:

The Produce Clerk is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by offering a friendly greeting and engaging with customers. This position provides customers with a high-level of product knowledge to assist with purchase decisions.

• Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the produce area
• Package, wrap, and label produce
• Maintain a display of produce ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
• Monitor temperatures, clean equipment and workspaces
• Other duties as required
