Job summary

North Central Co-op in Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a Part-Time Produce Clerk to join our Station Square Food Store team. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and assist with purchases in a friendly, helpful manner.

The role emphasizes accurate packaging, labeling, and maintaining an appealing produce display while following food safety standards. Open availability is an asset; previous retail experience is preferred.

What you’ll do:

The Produce Clerk is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by offering a friendly greeting and engaging with customers. This position provides customers with a high-level of product knowledge to assist with purchase decisions.

• Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the produce area
• Package, wrap, and label produce
• Maintain a display of produce ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
• Monitor temperatures, clean equipment and workspaces
• Other duties as required
