Job summary

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist in the Surrey area to partner with Sales and suppliers on quotes, sourcing, and procurement for non-stock items and project bids.

You will help ensure accurate product selection, competitive pricing, and timely delivery while protecting margins. The role requires a minimum of 3+ years in procurement, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs from Sales to ensure completeness and alignment with customer requirements.
• Analyze customer requirements, specifications and inventory to ensure accurate quoting.
• Support Sales in optimizing margin by identifying upsell opportunities and value-added solutions.
• Source materials and obtain pricing, availability, and technical information from suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery schedules.
