Kelly Services' has partnered with a pharmaceutical company to recruit for a Procurement Specialist

Contract role for 6-12 months

Monday to Friday onsite

Hiring 2 people

Shift: 8-hour days (Mon – Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Mon - Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Compensation: $22 hour CAD + 4% vacation pay

OPEN TO HIRING FRESH GRADUATES AS WELL

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of customer contractual commitments
• Sourcing of products
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
• Checks the availability of stock
• Placing and expediting purchase orders for stock and non-stock items
• Complete and monitor reports including procurement and supplier performance metrics
• Participates in special projects as directed, to include process improvement teams
• Manage identification, sourcing and procurement of MRO requirements (Core product areas) on behalf of the customer.
• Identify, implement and manage opportunities for Continuous Improvement by working with customer engineering, purchasing and production teams.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Two-year degree or four-year college degree is preferred
• Experience on the job in lieu of a degree may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant business experience and exposure to MRO product sourcing.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
