Job summary

Tag is seeking a Procurement and Pricing Analyst to support Sourcing, Operations and Finance by collecting, managing and analyzing data related to specifications and pricing. The role emphasizes creating savings analyses, pricing tools, and benchmarking methodologies.

The analyst will partner with departments to respond to RFPs and identify new business opportunities, while leveraging MS Excel/Access to deliver accurate insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Finance or Business emphasis preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel required.
  • Print production knowledge or print specifications experience is highly desirable.
  • Expert understanding of the correlation between product specifications and price.
  • Experience manipulating data, identifying trends, and building presentations to tell a story.
  • Experience managing multiple internal and external relationships.
  • Understanding of ERP/Procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, Ariba, SAP) and reports.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize deliverables with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Specifications, Pricing, Systems and Reporting
  • Leverage advanced analytical and technical skills (MS Excel/Access) to complete deliverables

  • Adhere to existing or contribute to creating new Benchmarking Schedules which define the methodology for measuring savings for a customer.
  • Perform periodic audit and validation of benchmarking process across various accounts
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external customers
  • Challenge the status quo where appropriate and seek innovative service solutions

Job description

The Procurement and Pricing Analyst supports the Sourcing, Operations and Finance departments through the collection, management and analysis of data.
