Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of procurement and inventory management within an Oracle ERP transformation.

The role serves as the functional lead for the Procurement/SCM workstream, overseeing analysts while delivering hands-on Oracle Fusion functional expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in SCM/Operations/Business or related field.
• 6+ years of procurement or SCM ERP implementation experience.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Procurement or Oracle EBS Purchasing experience.
• Strong understanding of P2P and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge of supplier management and procurement contracting practices.
• Experience leading or coaching Business Analysts in ERP projects.
• Experience producing functional design docs and supporting testing.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with operational and financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory management processes.
• Coach SCM Business Analysts; manage work planning and progress.
• Facilitate functional design workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Configure and validate Oracle Fusion Procurements functions (requisitions, POs, receiving, approvals).
• Develop Functional Design Documents, test cases, procedures, and mapping matrices.
• Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables across the Procurement workstream.
• Coordinate SCM data conversion for suppliers, items, and inventory.
• Define SIT and UAT scenarios and oversee testing.
• Identify and resolve functional issues and roadblocks.
• Train key users and contribute to operating procedures.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager – Oracle Fusion SCM to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of procurement and inventory management processes within an Oracle ERP transformation.

This role will serve as the functional lead for the Procurement/SCM workstream, overseeing business analysts while providing hands‑on functional expertise across Oracle Fusion

Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management, and Inventory.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and provide day‑to‑day direction to SCM Business Analysts, including work planning, prioritization, and progress monitoring.
• Lead the design and implementation of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory management processes.
• Facilitate functional design workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Configure and validate Oracle Fusion Procurement functionality, including requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, approval rules, catalogues, and supplier processes.
• Develop and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs), test cases, procedures, and mapping matrices.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of functional deliverables across the Procurement workstream.
• Coordinate SCM data conversion activities for suppliers, items, and inventory.
• Define and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios.
• Identify and resolve functional issues and roadblocks encountered by the project team.
• Train key users and contribute to the development of operating procedures.
• Manage RICEW items associated with the Procurement workstream.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or SCM ERP implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement or Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Purchasing.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge of supplier management and procurement contracting practices.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coaching Business Analysts within a project or ERP implementation environment.
• Experience producing and reviewing functional design documentation and supporting testing activities.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both operational and financial stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP / SCM transformation programs.
• Experience with supplier and item data conversion.
• Familiarity with end-to-end integration between Procurement, Inventory, Finance, and related ERP processes.
