Job summary

Prime Health Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement and contracts functions.

You will assign projects, coordinate purchasing activities, and oversee inventory and cost controls in a fast-paced, on-site environment. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, and proven skills in negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience or more.
• On site; no remote work option.

Responsibilities

• Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization.
• Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Plan and control budget and expenditures.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy.
• Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
• Authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
• Manage contracts.
• Review and process claims against suppliers.
• Oversee the analysis of data and information.
• Oversee the preparation of reports.
• Advise senior management.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
