Source Energy Services is seeking a Procurement Manager to design and execute a Canada-focused procurement strategy. You will lead end-to-end procurement, supplier management, and contract execution to drive value and efficiency across the business.

The role requires strong hands-on procurement experience, cross-functional influence, and a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
  • Demonstrated exposure to supply chain operations, strategic sourcing practices, and procurement standards.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and standard business applications.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in building structure and delivering results in new or evolving roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish procurement policies, governance and best practices tailored for a multi divisional environment.
  • Execute procurement strategies in partnership with operations to support business objectives including defining standards and KPIs.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement of goods and services, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and service expectations, while implementing cost-reduction initiatives that align with company standards.
  • Oversee contract implementation and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, negotiation, qualification, and onboarding activities.
  • Oversee procurement processes including sourcing, RFPs, bids, contract reviews, purchase orders, renewals and vendor performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive accountability through regular evaluation and feedback.
  • Strengthen and optimize the supplier base through proactive engagement and performance management practices.
  • Effectively balance Just in Time (JIT) with Just in Case (JIC) safety stock requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate and manage long term strategic partnerships with vendors to optimize service delivery, drive continuous improvement and manage performance issues.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and align procurement efforts.
  • Collaborate across functions to support business priorities and ensure sourcing activities enable operational success.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spend, mitigate risk, and enhance procurement processes.
  • Leverage procurement tools and methodologies—including benchmarking, cost modeling, and sourcing platforms—to deliver measurable savings.
  • Track and report on procurement performance using established KPIs, providing insights to operational and leadership teams.
  • Implement tools and workflows to improve spend visibility, lifecycle management and automation opportunities.
  • Promote procurement best practices to strengthen overall organizational capability and drive continuous improvement that comply with regulatory requirements, privacy standards and internal risk controls.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Reports To: EVP & CFO

Position Summary: Source Energy Services is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee the end-to-end design and execution of our procurement strategy for Canada. This position will support Canadian operations through effective sourcing, supplier management, and contract execution. This role works closely with the Divisional leadership teams and internal stakeholders to deliver procurement strategies that drive value, operational efficiency, and compliance across the business. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on procurement experience, the ability to build and influence relationships across functions, and a continuous improvement mindset focused on optimizing processes and supplier performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:
