Job summary

Canterbury Coffee in Burnaby BC is seeking a Procurement Operations professional to lead day-to-day purchasing and the full PO process from creation to delivery. You will partner with Production Planning to translate forecasts into timely purchasing actions and monitor lead times, pricing, and supplier performance.

This role emphasizes cost control, supplier collaboration and continuous improvement, with ERP expertise and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related discipline.
Experience managing purchase orders, supplier relationships and performance.
Ability to resolve delivery, quality and price issues while juggling priorities.
Experience with ERP systems; Dynamics AX is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day purchasing and full PO process from creation through delivery tracking.
Partner with Production Planning to translate forecasts into timely purchasing actions.
Monitor lead times, orders, shortages and supply risks; address issues proactively.
Maintain ERP purchasing parameters, supplier data, pricing and updates.
Build supplier relationships to ensure service, quality and continuity.
Review supplier performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance on compliance and investigations.
