Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a Procurement Co-op Student in Markham, Ontario to support day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities within the Purchasing and Logistics team. You will gain hands-on experience in procurement processes, data analysis, and system-related tasks while helping maintain accurate records and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university co-op program in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing team with day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Support STORES operations, including inventory-related activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, and Stores to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Support the SAP implementation team with system-related activities, data entry, testing, documentation, and other tasks as required.
• Help maintain accurate and organized purchasing and inventory records.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers through professional verbal and written communication.
