Job description

As a Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a fulfillment level. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will oversee complex supply chain situations related to our CMOC organization, work within a team of planning and procurement professionals, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives.

You will report directly to the CMOC Senior Procurement Manager and work out of our Mississauga location in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you are essential in optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an asset to our organization's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, modify, and manage purchase orders in SAP, including tariff lines and special instructions.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, expedite deliveries, and resolve issues, including managing PO acknowledgments and confirmations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a reliable supply chain, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with regulations, standards, and policies, maintaining organized records.
• Align procurement activities with the budget and seek cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Use technology, such as procurement software and analytics, to improve processes, monitoring, and reporting.
