Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and SCM practices.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba; proficient Excel user.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Source and expedite materials to support operational requirements.
• Run RFx processes including sourcing, evaluation, award, and closeout.
• Recommend procurement strategies based on risk and value.
• Support contracts and sourcing initiatives with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Monitor procurement KPIs and support cost reduction initiatives.

Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Procurement Analyst for a full-time opportunity in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, supply chain operations, SAP, Ariba, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Job type: One year contract | Full-time
• Work Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8 hours a day | 5 days in office
• Pay: $40- $50/hr

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

• Source and expedite materials to support operational requirements.
• Execute RFx processes, including sourcing, evaluation, award, and closeout.
• Recommend procurement strategies based on business needs, risk, and value.
• Support contract and sourcing initiatives with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external suppliers.
• Resolve purchasing, pricing, PO, and invoice-related issues.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supply Chain Operations

• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure material availability.
• Support inventory, receiving, and procurement activities.
• Assist with procurement cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and reporting metrics.
• Support SCM dashboards, analytics, and data integrity initiatives.
• Identify supply chain risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management and supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and supply chain management practices.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supporting sourcing activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
• Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, Industrial, or Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field is considered an asset.
• SCMP, CSCP, CPSM, CPM, or related Supply Chain certification is considered an asset.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
