Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Procurement Advisor in Calgary, Alberta to support capital projects in the oil and gas sector. You will manage sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, and PO activities across midstream assets, collaborating with stakeholders to drive value and continuous improvement.

The role requires a bachelor’s in business or related field, 6+ years of procurement experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years of directly related professional experience and/or a combination of commercial and technical work experience.
• Experience in procurement, contract management, and/or strategic sourcing, with demonstrated capability in leading sourcing events, negotiation, and supplier performance management.
• Experience in leading cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams to develop and execute projects, initiatives, strategies, or other opportunities to drive results.
• Highly developed analytical and business acumen with continuous improvement mindset and ability to get results.
• Understanding of engineering & construction project processes and contracting concepts; strong negotiation skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to build trust across diverse groups.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Livelink, Tableau; certifications such as SCMP, PMP, Lean, Six-Sigma are a plus.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

The SCM team is currently looking for an individual to support the Midstream Capital Project portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement lifecycle activities supporting capital projects across Midstream assets. Midstream plays a key role in unique integrated model. • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to quickly build trust and respectful relationships with diverse groups, Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, Livelink, and Tableau, Recognized professional designations and training (SCMP, PMP, Lean, Six-Sigma, etc.) is a preference
