Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc is recruiting a procurement professional to manage purchase orders, contracts and amendments for projects across Canada in a hybrid work setting.

You will guide project managers and engineers through procurement procedures, ensure supplier documentation, and reconcile invoices with Finance while collaborating with global leadership beyond Québec.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years purchasing or procurement experience preferred
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba/Oracle ERP; proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task
• Act as a resource person for procurement, purchasing and contract management for project teams
• Working in hybrid mode
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Bilingual in English and French
• This position involves collaboration with leadership outside Québec

Responsibilities

Your role

• Initiate, issue, and administer purchase orders and contracts in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure that all required supplier documentation is in place.
• Verify that purchase orders are acknowledged and accepted by suppliers.
• Provide support to project managers and engineers by guiding them through the appropriate procedures for preparing contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Prepare formal amendments or change orders for approved changes; manage, prepare, issue, and monitor change requests.
• Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to reconcile invoices.

About You

• 2-5 years purchasing or procurement experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba/Oracle ERP systems, proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Dedicated team player with well-established interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Act as a resource person for procurement, purchasing and contract management for project teams.
• Working in hybrid mode.
• Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $71,000 - $85,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
