Job Description

The Process Technician will support programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment. Additionally, they will set up and improve processes to enhance quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency in manufacturing.

Job Requirements
  1. Responsibilities:
    • Program manufacturing equipment, including SMT line equipment (Pick and Place, SPI, AOI, reflow oven), conformal coat robot, and selective soldering equipment.
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and impact on production, supporting manufacturing personnel.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and prepare maintenance reports and recommendations.
    • Develop and document work instructions for NPI products, legacy products, equipment, and processes.
    • Participate in the selection, installation, and qualification of new equipment and support the development of procedures for special processes.
    • Support prototype and pre-production sample production according to schedule and cost requirements.
    • Suggest process improvements, update work instructions, and create jigs/fixtures.
    • Establish efficient manufacturing methods and develop suitable processes.
    • Train manufacturing personnel on processes and equipment usage.
    • Support calibration of manufacturing equipment for optimal operation.
    • Perform other duties as required.
  2. Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2-3 years college diploma in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
    • Preferably 2+ years in electronics manufacturing with knowledge of electronic manufacturing equipment and procedures.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and HSE procedures.
    • Experience with 3D CAD and 3D printing is a plus.
