Responsibilities

  • Industrialize new references and identify tools, subcontractors, standards and certifications.
  • Develop processes from pilot stage through to industrial stage.
  • Establish industrial cost pricing in line with the business plan.
  • Write technical terms and references.
  • Lead scale-ups, process changes, risk analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise testing phases and document production developments.
  • Harmonize processes across territories and develop contingency plans.
  • Conduct technological monitoring and evaluate new processes for raw materials.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to industrialize new references, including identifying tools, subcontractors, standards, and certifications
  • Develop processes from pilot stage through to industrial stage
  • Establish industrial cost pricing in line with the business plan
  • Write technical terms and references
  • Anticipate and organize scale-ups, process changes, risk analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise testing phases and process development, ensuring documentation is kept up to date
  • Collaborate across territories to harmonize processes and establish contingency plans
  • Conduct technological monitoring and evaluate new processes for existing or future raw materials
  • Identify technical-economic solutions to optimize production costs
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree, preferably in Engineering, or an advanced PhD is preferred, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial company in North America (food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic ingredient industries)

  • Collaborer avec les différents départements pour industrialiser de nouvelles références, notamment en identifiant les outils, sous-traitants, normes et certifications nécessaires
  • Développer les processus depuis la phase pilote jusqu'à la phase industrielle
  • Établir les prix de revient industriels conformément au plan d'affaires
  • Rédiger les cahiers des charges techniques
  • Anticiper et organiser les montées en échelle, les changements de procédés, les analyses de risques et les initiatives d'amélioration continue
  • Superviser les phases de test et le développement des processus, en veillant à la mise à jour de la documentation correspondante
  • Collaborer avec les différents territoires afin d'harmoniser les processus et d'établir des plans de contingence
  • Assurer la veille technologique et évaluer les nouveaux procédés pour les matières premières existantes ou futures
  • Rechercher des solutions technico-économiques afin d'optimiser les coûts de production
Exigences
  • Le candidat idéal possèdera un Master, de préférence en Ingénierie, ou un doctorat avancé serait un atout, ainsi qu'un minimum de 7 ans d'expérience dans une entreprise industrielle en Amérique du Nord (industries alimentaire, pharmaceutique ou des ingrédients cosmétiques)
  • Solide expertise technique et passion pour le domaine
  • Esprit d'ingénierie polyvalent et excellent esprit d'équipe
  • Ce rôle exige que vous interagissiez avec des clients, des dirigeants et des collègues au Québec et dans d'autres pays qui ne parlent peut-être pas français ; la maîtrise du français et de l'anglais est requise
