Job summary

NSG Group in Collingwood, Canada, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to consult on methods and equipment, evaluate processes, and drive efficiency across material flow and operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive exp is a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Interpersonal, verbal and writing skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation, analysis, evaluation and review of problems regarding methods and equipment, material handling, layout and material flow.

• Provides assistance in trouble shooting equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production.
• Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles and Minimum Controls.
• Support all new model launch, PFMEA, Control Plan, and TS requirements.
