Boston Scientific in Mississauga is seeking a Process Engineering Associate for a 12-month co-op/new grad placement starting January 2027. The role focuses on design input, manufacturability, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

You will build and test prototypes in SolidWorks, lead LEAN initiatives, support validation plans, ensure ISO 13485 and FDA compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines. On-site five days a week.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment, including drafting prototypes.
  • Build and test prototype devices to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Assist with validation/test plans and process characterization.
  • Lead LEAN initiatives to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare drawings and training materials for new tools and equipment.
  • Monitor safety practices and support ISO 13485 and FDA compliance with cross-functional teams.

Work mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy.
