What You Will Do
  1. Support new product launches and equipment commissioning for assigned commodities into production.
  2. Develop and update process documentation (standards, layout, flow, PFMEA, planning) for new and modified processes.
  3. Monitor results and KPIs, perform studies and analysis to ensure process consistency.
  4. Assist in prototype builds for new or modified product designs, focusing on manufacturability and process parameters.
  5. Work with capacity plans supporting quoting and customer requirements for new jobs/business.
  6. Ensure product designs are manufacturable through APQP processes.
What You Will Bring
  1. Engineering Degree or Diploma.
  2. Knowledge of design for manufacturing and APQP processes.
  3. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Understanding of GD&T, SPC, and PFMEA.
  5. Minimum 5 years relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive products.
  6. Experience with assembly of plastic components in high-volume automated environments.
  7. Experience with electronic and electrical component assembly or high-voltage automotive products is a plus.
  8. Laser welding experience is an asset.
  9. Knowledge of motor magnetization processes and balancing rotary mass in production are assets.
