Process Engineer

Our client, a leading design and manufacturer of custom process equipment for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is actively looking for a Process Engineer to joint their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Complete conceptual and detailed design of the process
• Champion your customers project through the design-build-deliver cycle
• Communicate internally and externally to overcome obstacles in meeting our commitment of delivering high quality equipment on time
• Complete mass balance, heat transfer and thermodynamic calculations
• Specify major equipment, select valves and instruments, specify piping requirements
• Provide informed input to the control and automation, electrical and mechanical design of the systems
• Support fabrication teammates during construction to ensure design intent is met
• Participate in the testing of the equipment in our factory and on our client’s site
• Enlist support and manage subcontracts and vendors

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Registered (or eligible) P.Eng. in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
• Two to Four years’ industry specific experience is an asset but attitude will be the differentiator
