Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in process design and construction management on water projects.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • Proven technical skills in process modeling and analysis.

Job description

We are currently searching for a Process Engineer for our Edmonton office.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on water and wastewater projects throughout Alberta. You will be working on water supply, water and wastewater treatment, reservoirs, lift stations, and pumping station projects for public and private sector clients. Responsibilities include studies, process modeling and analysis, assessments, reports, hydraulic analysis, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimating, development of specifications and contract documents, tendering, and construction management. This position offers excellent opportunities for mentorship and advancement.

Ideal candidates are excellent communicators with effective organizational skills and leadership potential, thriving in a dynamic work environment. Your abilities will be strengthened through projects focused on the delivery, treatment, and management of water in Alberta.

Job Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • Post-graduate specialization in water / wastewater process engineering is an asset.
  • 5+ years experience in process design and construction management on water projects.
  • Strong background in process modeling, analysis, plant hydraulics.
  • Proven technical skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in consulting is an asset.
  • Team player with a valid driver's license.
