Job summary

Saskatchewan Ltd. in Creighton is seeking a Probation Officer/Community Youth Worker to deliver services in Community Corrections. You will prepare court reports, complete risk assessments, develop case plans, and collaborate with community partners to provide integrated offender management in the community.

Travel and some evenings may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential. If relocating, relocation reimbursement with a 2-year promissory note/return service commitment is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in behavioural change, corrections, justice, social work or mental health.
• Knowledge of addictions, domestic violence, poverty, disabilities, mental health and family dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare court reports and complete risk assessments.
• Develop case plans and collaborate with community partners for offender management.
• Supervise offenders in the community and provide services to youth and adults.
