Overview

Panasonic Canada Inc. is hiring for the position of Technician I. This role involves servicing and supporting a range of products, providing repair services for sales samples and external customers, primarily in a professional technical environment. The position is full-time and onsite at our Mississauga office on Ambler Drive.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Repair: Repair products within quality standards, troubleshoot, provide repair updates, and complete necessary training.
2. Technical Support: Handle customer requests via phone, email, or internet, determine if issues are hardware or software related, and support product compatibility.
3. Reporting: Collect data on repairs, communicate with factory reps, and prepare reports on technical issues.
4. Q/C and Miscellaneous: Perform quality checks on returned or refurbished products and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. 2-3 years of community college training in electronics or equivalent, with at least 5 years experience with professional projectors and video equipment like PTZ cameras.
2. Knowledge of microprocessor hardware/software and OS platforms like Windows, MS Office.
3. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and soldering equipment.
4. Ability to diagnose and repair to modular and board level.
5. Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
