Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a co-op/intern student for Wealth Sales & Service in Alberta. You will help support Investment Advisors, assist with client relationships, and contribute to daily branch operations while learning through mentoring and training programs.

Applicants must be enrolled in an academic program and planning to return to studies. Salary ranges will reflect part-time intern compensation; total rewards include benefits and growth opportunities within the campus program.

Responsibilities

• Supports Investment Advisors (IAs) and IA Team and staff, and branch operations with day-to-day administration.
• Delivers exceptional client service to support achievement of business objectives.
• Maintains and organizes client database and client files.
• Develops rapport and instills confidence with clients to build credibility and a positive experience.
• Assists in managing a portfolio of clients to retain and grow relationships.
• Supports IAs in investment needs, providing professional, customized investment-related advice, sales and services.
• Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard client assets and privacy.
