Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Inc. seeks a Specialist/Senior Specialist, Investment Operations (PAS) to support private asset servicing across private credit, private equity, infrastructure, and real estate.

You will coordinate with Investments, Legal, Accounting, and Trade Operations to ensure accurate lifecycle servicing from onboarding to settlements. The role requires 3+ years in investment operations or asset servicing, a related degree, and strong data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in investment operations, asset servicing, middle office, fund accounting, or a related investment operations role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• CFA, CPA, CAIA are beneficial but not required.
• Strong understanding of trade and servicing lifecycle events for private securities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data/reporting tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of private investments, including onboarding, deal closing, funding, ongoing servicing, repayments, and covenant-related activity.
• Review and interpret legal/transaction documents to support accurate operational setup and servicing.
• Coordinate with Investment, Legal, Accounting, Trade Operations, custodians, and other service providers.
• Monitor activity and investigate cash, position, trade, and data breaks with the Reconciliations team.
• Assist with audit requests, internal controls reviews, and process improvements.
