Job summary

Staples Canada in Northeastern Ontario is seeking a friendly retail associate to help customers in-store, especially with print services, and to promote products and services using our selling model.

You will process transactions at the POS, assist with print orders, stock supplies, and maintain in-store merchandising while collaborating with store leaders to reach sales and margin goals.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Engage with and sell to customers by offering tailored products and services using Staples selling model.
• Handle transactions using the POS system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Fulfill steps required for intake or pickup of customer orders in Print, including filtering orders from the print dashboard and at the counter.
• Ensure machines are stocked with paper, toners, and supplies; catalogue all print orders per company standards and prioritize service paths.
• Maintain merchandising and signage standards in print and cash areas and ensure accurate inventory control.
