Job summary

Staples Canada in Sydney, Canada is seeking an Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and support print production. You will learn all products and services to offer informed recommendations while upholding safety and privacy standards.

You will work with store leaders to meet sales and margin goals, handle POS transactions, and ensure smooth intake/pickup of print orders. This role includes merchandising, inventory controls, and brand standardization.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute to the success of the print and customer service areas of the store by utilizing our selling model within the store and learning all our products and services to offer informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
