Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security to lead strategic enterprise relationships and shape product direction across areas. You will manage enhancement requests, translate customer needs into shipped features, and collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering.

You will prioritize work, influence roadmaps, and deliver candid updates to CISO/CTO stakeholders while maintaining trust and a strategic perspective in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience in software.
• 4+ years in B2B enterprise software with revenue impact.
• Experience with named strategic accounts and hyperscalers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the enhancement request pipeline across multiple enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products and coherent direction.
• Turn input from strategic accounts into successful products and partnerships.
• Feed validated patterns back into core product roadmaps.
• Serve as the primary product voice with senior customer stakeholders.
• Prioritize requirements using structured frameworks like RICE and scoring.
• Write actionable requirements for engineering with minimal clarification.
• Support deal cycles through RFP responses and security questionnaires.
• Navigate contractual expectations vs. internal roadmaps.
• Create artifacts that provide visibility to customers and stakeholders.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing broader market needs.
