Purpose:

We are recruiting a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead small to medium projects within our team of experts. The role is based in Vancouver, BC, requiring the candidate to lead project teams, interface with clients, and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical project teams, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Serve as project lead designer/engineer, supervising other engineers and designers.
  • Perform and oversee design work, including equipment selection, flow sheets, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Support proposal development, project execution planning, and bid evaluations.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and the client, ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
  • Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities as needed.
  • Mentor junior staff and stay updated on industry developments.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Senior-level engineering experience, particularly in Mining, Minerals, and Metals industries.
  • Experience with project leadership, equipment design, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 3D modeling tools like Navisworks.
Additional Information:

Salary range for BC residents: $133,924 to $199,146, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
