Job summary

Infostrux is seeking a Principal Data Architect in Toronto for a hybrid role that blends on-site collaboration 3–4 days per week with flexible remote work. You will own data architecture across engagements in financial services, partnering with business and technology teams.

Lead design of access, governance, and data delivery foundations, ensure auditability, and drive modern data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• Financial services delivery experience.
• Financial data fluency across FS sub-sectors.
• Entitlement and access design with RBAC and data security.
• Deep Snowflake Data Cloud production experience.
• Strong dbt expertise for models and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect reporting products drawn directly from core operational and front office systems.
• Design the calculation and what-if modelling layers on top for performance and profitability.
• Build governance-heavy data pipelines with auditability and traceability.
• Lead project teams, set technical direction, and mentor engineers.
• Produce architecture decision records and evidence for client due diligence.
