Job summary

CoreFactor is seeking a Data Solutions Designer in the GTA, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring four days in the downtown Toronto office. The role focuses on shaping data-driven solutions for investment insights, reporting, and analytics across an asset management business.

You will design data flows from sources to BI platforms, guide architecture, and ensure secure, scalable implementation while partnering with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Data Science/Engineering or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Data Analytics or related field is preferred.
• Certifications (Snowflake, AWS, dbt, TOGAF) are a plus.
• 5+ years in data architecture/design or data engineering, preferably in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design End-to-End Data Solutions for BI, analytics, and AI/ML.
• Define data flows from ingestion through transformation, storage, and delivery (real-time and batch).
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and quants to ensure scalable, secure designs.
• Ensure alignment with governance, regulatory requirements, and platform standards.
• Review and influence solution designs for maintainability and performance.
