We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our vibrant and dedicated team in Vancouver, BC, as a proven leader in environmental investigation and remediation. As a registered professional in BC, with 10-15 years of experience in this field, and ideally a Contaminated Sites Approved Professional, you will be part of our growing team meeting our client needs across the BC province.   • Lead, plan, and execute projects at contaminated sites across various sectors including mining, oil and gas, transportation, and government agencies.
  • Share your diverse fieldwork experience and project management expertise by mentoring others and providing technical guidance.
  • Bring best practices, innovation, and efficiencies to the BC team.
  • Collaborate with practitioners including Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals, leveraging deep technical knowledge.
  • Manage projects from proposal to implementation, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality meet client expectations.
  • Leverage excellent interpersonal skills to empower colleagues.
  • Work with supportive multidisciplinary teams to achieve personal and project goals.

What You'll Bring To WSP

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and innovative thinking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Biology, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Relevant professional designation registered in BC (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Chem., R.P.Bio).
  • Interest or eligibility to become a member of the Society of Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals of BC.
  • Proven experience providing technical and regulatory advice, and conducting senior reviews.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and client relationships.
  • A clean Driver’s Abstract and willingness to travel occasionally.
Compensation

Expected Salary (British Columbia): $122,500 to $187,200. The final salary may vary based on education, experience, skills, and organizational needs.
