Start Date: August 27, 2024

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ability to work effectively with students with varying challenges and unique needs.
2. Able to provide intellectual and behavior support to students.
3. Teaches prepared lesson plans and leads interactive learning activities.
4. Initiates and facilitates classroom discussions.
5. Incorporates appropriate technology and media in lesson planning.
6. Accompanies classes on field trips.
7. Promotes and maintains high standards of behavior, respect, and safety within the classroom.
8. Able to create a safe and caring relationship with students that supports their growth and development.
9. Develop a positive, safe culture through actions and words.
10. Integrate social responsibility and kindness into daily teaching and routines.

1. Possess or be in application of a valid BC Teaching Certificate.
2. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in education.
