Job summary

Medavie Health Services West provides primary emergency medical services across Saskatchewan, including Shamrock, Wadena, Foam Lake and Rose Valley. We seek a Primary Care Paramedic to deliver advanced clinical care and support patient transport, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires Saskatchewan PCP registration, ITLS and CPR-C, with current background checks and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered PCP with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
• Must submit with resume a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License (or equivalent).
• Must submit with resume ITLS and CPR C certification for Health Care Providers.
• Must submit with resume a current (within last 60 days) clear criminal record check along with a vulnerable sector check.
• Must submit with resume a current (within last 30 days) driver’s abstract.
• Must demonstrate ability to work efficiently as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Independent advance clinical care.
• Safe transportation of individuals, including emergency and non-emergency responses, and inter-facility transfers.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in accordance with patient needs and public safety.
• Clinical expectations and responsibilities based on NOCP, Saskatchewan paramedics requirements, and Medavie Health Services West policies.
