Job summary

A leading health care provider in Prince Edward Island is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Paramedic for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing immediate treatment and safe transportation of sick or injured individuals to medical facilities. Must possess valid paramedic qualifications, a Class 4 Driver's License, and a commitment to patient safety initiatives. Compensation is $28.14 - $35.53 hourly according to the CUPE 3324 Collective Agreement.

The PCP provides immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities. Due to the nature of operating in the public eye, a high level of professionalism, communication, and knowledge is always expected. The paramedic is required to conduct themselves in a safe and discreet manner, with the responsibility of conduct justification to patients, family members, hospitals staff, management, public agencies, legal court, and more. • Confirmation of HEP. B vaccination
• Additional training and/or education is highly valued

Salary:

$28.14 - $35.53 Hourly as per the CUPE 3324 Collective Agreement.
