Job description

Job Type : Temporary to Permanent (eligibility for hire after 520 hours)

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $21 / hour

Overview :

We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist to join a growing team in the transportation industry. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills and a background in rating and pricing within a logistics or freight environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Audit freight bills for accuracy in rates, fuel, mileage, and accessorial charges

Calculate shipping costs for road and rail services, including additional fees

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies

Communicate with interline partners and customers regarding additional charges

Provide shipping cost estimates and comparisons as needed

Respond to rate and routing inquiries via phone and email

Perform data entry, filing, and other clerical support as required

Support management with other related tasks as needed

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing or rating within transportation or logistics

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

High school diploma required

Experience with TruckMate (TMW) considered an asset

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
