Position Details:

• Location: Toronto
• Type: Temporary, 24 Months

Hydro One is embarking on its Joint Rate Application (JRAP) 2 project covering 2028-2032. We are hiring a JRAP Resource to support this enterprise effort, involving rate development, regulatory support, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain cost allocation and rate design models for transmission and distribution tariffs.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis for rate development.
• Support regulatory submissions and participate in hearings.
• Provide guidance on pricing policies and represent the company in external forums.
• Assist in stakeholder education and contribute to code and rule evolutions.
• Supervise and train junior staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in economics, finance, or related field (4 years of university training).
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in the electricity industry and regulatory environment in Ontario.
• Strong analytical, project coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAS, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
