Position Overview

As a Fuel Pricing Coordinator at Parkland, you will play a critical role in coordinating fuel pricing across the retail network. Your responsibilities include gathering and analyzing market data, monitoring sales performance and competitor activity, and helping optimize pricing to support business objectives. You will also develop tools and processes to enhance pricing efficiency and collaborate with teams in operations, marketing, and IT.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate fuel pricing at Parkland’s retail gas stations by collecting information from the field, determining prices, and communicating them effectively.
  2. Engage with stakeholders including station operators, management, and IT for daily execution, training, and process improvements.
  3. Prepare and distribute reports on pricing activity and market conditions.
  4. Support the evolution of retail pricing execution capabilities and develop tools to improve performance.
  5. Analyze sales, margins, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for strategy improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).
  • High initiative, motivated, detail-oriented.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and good judgment.
  • Experience with developing processes and tools to improve pricing and analytics.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in challenging situations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable with technology.
Additional Information

Starting Salary: NS $42,000; ON, QC, BC $44,000; AB $50,000 per annum.
