Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Sales Finance, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail. This individual should be independent, assertive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passionate about achieving results and driving improvement.

The Financial Analyst will be a key business partner to our sales team, responsible for evaluating new sales opportunities through Profit and Loss Analysis (P&L) and providing financial analysis on existing business to optimize profitability for sustainable, profitable growth.

• Complete Profit & Loss Analysis for new sales opportunities and existing business in a timely manner to evaluate opportunities and current business state.
• Provide financial guidance to optimize account profitability.
• Lead monthly account reviews to ensure financial targets are met.
• Partner with Finance and Sales to design and implement digital finance solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Economics, Business (Commerce), or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is an asset.
• Experience collaborating with Sales Representatives is advantageous.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
