Job summary

Brandt in Laval is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform on-site PM services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, using state-of-the-art technologies. You will identify issues, report checklists, and work with customers to ensure satisfaction while supporting the maintenance team to keep equipment reliable.

The role requires a Truck Class 3 license, strong customer service and communication skills, and flexibility for after-hours work; previous heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Truck Class 3 license is required.
• Strong customer service focus with experience in service-oriented environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work after-hours or on shift as required to support customer needs.
• Previous experience operating, servicing, or maintaining heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) services across all levels with professionalism to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Identify and report additional maintenance issues requiring follow-up by heavy-duty technicians to maintain equipment safety and performance.
• Accurately capture and report PM service checklists, inspections, and work order information to support detailed customer reporting and compliance.
• Engage directly with customers and equipment operators to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with maintenance services.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician in our Laval Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for completing on-site preventative maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state of the art technologies.
