Job summary

Vertex Resource Group Ltd. in Blackfoot, AB is hiring a Pressure Truck / Hot Oiler Operator for local, full-time work. This role offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and a safety-first team environment.

The ideal candidate brings Class 1 license, 2+ years of hot oil er and pressure truck experience, and a commitment to safety, lifting heavy tools, and working shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver's License with a clean commercial abstract.
• 2+ years experience as Hot Oiler Operator.
• 2+ years experience with 5K & 10K Pressure Trucks.
• Minimum 2 years oilfield experience.
• ELD logbook experience.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and fluid hauling considered an asset.
• Willing to work shift rotation, days, evenings and weekends when required.
• Possess H2S Alive, CSO and First Aid safety tickets.
• Clean Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex).
• Steel Toe Rubber Boots requirement.
• Ability to lift heavy tools and parts.
• Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet.

• Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, FLRA’s, hazard assessment development and pre-trips/post-trips.
• Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors and customers.
• Able to demonstrate competent operation of equipment.
• Drive equipment in a safe and professional manner obeying all traffic rules at all times.
• Ensure all training requirements are up to date and current.
• Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work.
