Vertex is currently hiring a Pressure Truck / Hot Oiler Operator to join our Blackfoot, AB team. This full-time role offers local work, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

We seek safety-focused, reliable professionals committed to long-term employment and teamwork with our customers and contractors. Successful candidates will meet licensing and oilfield experience requirements and be able to work shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Hot Oiler Operator experience.
• 2+ years 5K & 10K Pressure Truck Operator experience.
• Minimum of 2 years oilfield experience.
• H2S Alive, CSO and First Aid safety tickets.
• Clean Drug & Alcohol Testing provided by Vertex.

Responsibilities

• Operate pressure truck and hot oiling equipment safely.
• Attend toolbox talks and safety meetings; follow policies & procedures.
• Work as part of a team with coworkers, contractors and customers.
• Drive equipment safely and obey traffic rules at all times.
• Maintain up-to-date training and comply with shift rotations.

We are currently looking for a Pressure Truck/Hot Oiler Operator to join our Blackfoot, AB Vertex Team! We are looking for Operators who are looking forfull time work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in safety program's by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
• Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, FLRA’s, hazard assessment development and pre-trips/post-trips
• Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors and customers
• Able to demonstrate competent operation of equipment
• Drive equipment in a safe and professional manner obeying all traffic rules at all times
• Ensure all training requirements are up to date and current
• Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work

Candidate Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver's License with a clean commercial abstract
• 2+ years with Hot Oiler Operator experience
• 2+ years with 5K & 10K Pressure Truck Operator experience
• Minimum of 2 years of oilfield experience
• ELD logbook experience
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and fluid hauling considered an asset
• The requirement to work shift rotation, days, evenings and weekends when required
• Possess H2S Alive, CSO and First Aid safety tickets
• Clean Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
• Steel Toe Rubber Boots requirement
• Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
• Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet
