Job summary

Métal CN Inc in Terrebonne, Canada, is seeking a press brake operator to read plans and set Amada machinery for precise bending of metal sheets. Work shifts include day (Mon-Thu 6:30 AM–5:00 PM) and night (Mon-Thu 5:00 PM–3:30 AM) with a shift premium for evenings.

You will load sheets, adjust tooling, inspect parts, keep the workspace clean, document quality data per ISO, and support colleagues during peak periods.

Qualifications

• DEP in sheet metal work or equivalent.
• Read and interpret plans and adjust the machine for each piece.
• Load metal sheets into the machine and select appropriate tooling.
• Follow ISO quality procedures and keep work area organized.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, program and adjust the machine for each piece.
• Precisely inspect metal pieces and make necessary adjustments.
• Start production after checks.
• Load metal sheets into the machine.
• Determine the sequence and method of bending.
• Select tools suited to the metal thickness and type of bending.
• Organize finished products on pallets for shipping.
• Regularly maintain and clean the machine.
• Keep a clean workspace.
• Participate in inventories and check the quality of received materials.
• Complete documents related to quality (ISO).
• Support colleagues in case of absence or during peak periods.
