AGAT Laboratories is hiring a Preparation Technician for a contract position in our Mining Group. The role supports general labour activities in a warehouse setting and involves repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.

The successful candidate will be physically fit, able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with protective equipment. Fluency in English and reliable transportation to NE Calgary are required.

We are hiring a Preparation Technician for a contract position in our Mining Group. The successful candidate will be providing support with general labour activities in a warehouse environment.

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis.
• Physical fitness, ability to stand and work safely for long periods of time
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
• Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Mature work ethic, dependable, with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently.
• Reliable transportation to NE Calgary.
• Must have steel toed shoes/boots.

What you will be doing:

• Repetitive tasks and heavy frequent lifting.
• Post secondary degree or diploma an asset.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• The work environment can be quite warm. Protective/safety equipment must be worn.
