Job summary

Prep Coverage Teacher, Grades K-6 at Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School in Sparwood, BC. This 0.30 FTE temporary position is scheduled to start Sept 14, 2026 and run to June 25, 2027, or upon return of the incumbent.

Applicants should have BC Teacher Certification or equivalent, with degree/formal training and experience at the Elementary level. All work is on site at the Sparwood location.

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $21,117 to $35,756, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

This position is tentatively scheduled for 1.5 days per week and will include Physical Education or ADST. Please note that all work will be on site.
