Job summary

School District No. 5 Southeast Kootenay seeks a Grade 3/4 Teacher for Steeples Elementary School in Cranbrook, BC. This is a 1.0 FTE temporary contract starting September 8, 2026 (or until November 2, 2026 or return of the incumbent), on-site only.

Candidates should have degree/formal training and teaching experience appropriate to primary grades; BC Teacher Certification is preferred. The district offers competitive benefits and pension in accordance with the collective agreement.

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $118,611, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
