School District 5 Southeast Kootenay seeks a Learning Services Teacher for grades K-6 for a 1.0 FTE temporary position at Frank J. Mitchell Elementary in Sparwood, BC, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2026, or return of the incumbent.

The successful candidate will hold BC Teacher Certification and a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education, with elementary experience considered an asset.

The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
