Job summary

Din Tai Fung North America in Vancouver, BC, is seeking energetic prep cooks to join our kitchen team at 1132 Alberni St. You will receive, wash, cut and prepare produce and food items following our procedures and quality standards.

Open availability, ability to stand long hours, and a positive attitude are valued. Experience is preferred but not required. This role offers competitive pay ($18.30 CAD per hour plus tips) and a benefits package with insurance options.

Responsibilities

• Prep cooks are responsible for receiving, checking the quality of, washing, cutting and preparing the produce and food goods in accordance with Din Tai Fung's procedures.
• Prep cooks must familiarize themselves with the standard cutting size of all vegetables and take care and attention to wash vegetables thoroughly.
