Fresh Prep in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Cleaning Facility - Production Associate (Morning Shift). Join a fast-growing, B Corporation-certified company delivering sustainable meal kits.

You’ll help maintain a clean, food-safe production environment and support sanitation, material sorting and job flow in a temperature-controlled warehouse. The role is full-time on the morning shift with an hourly wage of $20.23.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in temperatures 0°C to 10°C.
• Able to remain on feet for 8-hour shifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs (14 kg).

Responsibilities

• Operate on an area with normal room temperature during shift.
• Sanitize returned materials used for customer deliveries.
• Sort returned materials and recycle items from customers.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean, food-safe production environment.
• Support sanitation line operations at loading or unloading ends.

What You'll Be Doing

At Fresh Prep, every day can look a little different! While we are currently in a period of growth, our operations are becoming increasingly streamlined. Your first day may not look exactly like your third or tenth, but throughout your time with us you can expect to take part in a variety of tasks, including:

• Working your shift in an area maintained at normal room temperature.
• Sanitizing returned materials used for delivering products to our customers.
• Sorting returned materials and recycling items received from customers when they are brought back by our delivery drivers.
• Operating on our automated sanitization line, either at the loading (feed) end or the unloading (removal) end.
• Following safe work practices and helping maintain a clean, healthy, and food-safe production environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a fast-paced environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a high paced warehouse environment while meeting strict deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment, with warehouse temperatures maintained between 0°C and 10°C.
• Able to remain on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
• Capable of safely lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs (14 kg).
